Integration Into Life

Integrating learnings from transformational medicine-assisted therapy experiences into everyday life is the key to long term change and healing. Finding meaning can take weeks, months, years and sometime a lifetime.

Medicine-assisted therapy can reopen critical periods, creating a window of increased neuroplasticity following treatment and an opportunity to rewire rigid thought patterns and make behavioural changes. This requires intention, commitment and cultivation of a practice.

Eureka Collective

The high demand for medicine assisted psychotherapy has given rise to increased underground use of certain psychedelic substances. Some people may experience a “bad trip” when using psychedelics, especially in an uncontrolled setting, and this can result is severe psychological distress.

The Eureka Collective aims to help people who choose to use psychedelic substances minimise the risk of psychological harm by offering them access to peer-led integration support.

Forest Medicine does not support the use of psychedelic substances outside of legal settings and approved clinically supervised programs.
